The mojito’s are flowing, the old fashioned’s are smoking and fine food is in abundance at El Patio de Cuba, the newest and most vibrant restaurant in Surfers Paradise.
Located in Chevron Renaissance, El Patio is inspired by the original party island of Cuba, famous for cigars, cars and Castro but more importantly mouth watering cuisine inspired by Spain and the Caribbean.
El Patio is at the forefront of the culinary movement taking place on the Gold Coast. At the heart of their kitchen lies a beautiful, shining piece of high-tech stainless steel, the Josper Oven.
Usually found in the top restaurants in Spain, El Patio is proud to be the first restaurant on the Gold Coast to house the Josper wood fire oven, which uses the same method of traditional Catalan cooking over hot coals. Temperatures inside the oven can reach up to a whopping 500 degrees Celsius yet imparts the most delicate and subtle smoky flavours.
